A true trans-continental tour that includes the western Alps in France, driving a section of the Tour de France, an overnight stay in Modena and a visit to the Ferrari factory, spectacular drives through the Dolomites around Cortina d'Ampezzo and, of course the fantastic drives in and around the Italian and Swiss Alps. A truly unforgettable once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Similar to the route taken in the three-day Triple Treat, but also includes a stay in gorgeous Lake Como and extends the tour further east into the Italian Alps to include routes near Trento and Bolzano. A true Alpine adventure.
Driving the Alps on a sunny, clear day is a slice of heaven. Driving the Alps on a cloudy, foggy or rainy day is, well ... not. We also know that there is no way to predict the weather when you make your plans 4-6 months in advance. Recognizing this (and leveraging our knowledge of the Alps) AAT has developed a program where, with a bit of flexibility, we design a tour in real-time to go wherever we can find the best driving weather.
Because Zurich is virtually surrounded by fantastic roads, we can use our knowledge of the region to go East, West, South or North to find the best experience for you.
Driving For Pleasure has an excellent library of information on many routes throughout the UK, Europe and beyond. Check them out here:
This route heads southwest to Chamonix and Mont Blanc and then through some of the most spectacular scenery anywhere on a portion the Route des Grandes Alpes before heading back north through Lake Como and up through the Swiss Alps. A spectacular variety of scenery and climates.
Over the years, AAT has developed routes that offer a great combination of driving excitement and scenic beauty by day, and fine dining and relaxation by night. In most cases, tours consist of morning and afternoon driving "sessions" that are between 2-4 hours each, with a break for lunch along the way. Evenings are spent in spectacular Alpine ski resorts where group or individual dinners can be arranged and where shopping and spa treatments are, of course, also available.
AAT itineraries are entirely customizable based on group preferences and desires. On the other hand, we are always available to provide insight and guidance based on our experience. Either way, we are happy to work with you to come up with the perfect trip.
